DOT HealthWorks Orlando -Urinalysis

The urinalysis is part of the DOT Physical (required) but it is not a drug test.

The urinalysis, by design, is intended to screen at-risk patients in the areas of kidney function, urinary tract infections, carbohydrate metabolism (e.g. diabetes mellitus), liver function, acid-base balance, and urine concentration.

There are only four parameters (specific gravity, glucose, protein and blood) which need to be tested for the DOT Physical.

HealthWorks Orlando wants to remind drivers to drink water before coming to the office. If you have any questions about the urinalysis please post a question to help other drivers.
